Sandy enjoys working with and meeting new people. Accompanied by her RCMP husband and 3 children, she has moved throughout Alberta, Northwest Territories, Nunavut and British Columbia. Residing in the beautiful East Kootenays, she is proud to call Cranbrook “home”.
Her career background consists of Social Service work, education, business planning consulting, author/publisher/marketer and sales for her independently published Canadian Best Selling “Kootenay Country Kitchens Cookbook” and most important of all, being a parent. Sandy’s achievements, relocation experiences and diversified career background give her the knowledge and skills to provide the best service for any real estate needs. The trust, loyalty, dedication and professionalism has made her in the top 1% with Royal LePage in Canada, top 10 Royal Lepage Realtors in British Columbia in 2017 and Sandy is an honoured recipient of “The Award of Excellence” as a Lifetime Member.
Sandy has sat as a Director with the Kootenay Real Estate Board with serves the East and West Kootenays. She has served as a director with “Family and Community Support Services” in Alberta and has served as a director with Cranbrook Minor Hockey. Being an active member within the community, Sandy has volunteered and participated in supporting many charitable organizations.
Sandy loves living the Kootenay lifestyle. She loves spending time with her family and friends, golfing, camping, boating, hiking, fishing, hockey and even attempts the blue runs at the ski hills. She is proud to share this lifestyle with all her clients and friends.
Growing up in a RCMP family, Justine has moved 4 times with her father’s transfers to many cultural communities including the Arctic. She appreciates the skills she obtained with her family’s positive attitudes, where each move was an adventure and has given Justine the appreciation and skills in being adaptable and flexible in her everyday life.
Justine takes great pride calling Cranbrook home since 2001 and looks forward in residing in the beautiful East Kootenays for years to come. Although she has traveled and completed her University education elsewhere, family is an important part of Justine and Cranbrook is where her heart and home will always be.
With the opportunities through Cranbrook Minor Hockey, and the Warner Hockey Program playing with the Alberta Major Midget hockey program, Justine is grateful to have pursued a hockey and academic scholarship at Robert Morris University in Chicago Illinois USA. In Chicago she completed both a degree in Architectural Technology, and received a diploma in CAD Drafting with a background in marketing and business. With determination and hard work, Justine quickly learned the importance of being a team player as well as obtaining valuable organizational & multi-tasking skills.
Being an active member in her community, Justine is a proud supporter and volunteers with charitable organizations such as Cops for Kids and Cranbrook’s own Hungry for Life Haiti Fundraiser. For 3 years, Justine volunteered with children participating with Niedermayer Hockey School.
Since 2013, Justine has worked for Sandy Smith at Royal LePage East Kootenay Realty. She loves meeting new people and is excited to see what this exciting career holds for her. Growing up around Real Estate has given her the knowledge in the importance of great customer service and professionalism.
