_A0P2735Growing up in a RCMP family, Justine has moved 4 times with her father’s transfers to many cultural communities including the Arctic. She appreciates the skills she obtained with her family’s positive attitudes, where each move was an adventure and has given Justine the appreciation and skills in being adaptable and flexible in her everyday life.

Justine takes great pride calling Cranbrook home since 2001 and looks forward in residing in the beautiful East Kootenays for years to come. Although she has traveled and completed her University education elsewhere, family is an important part of Justine and Cranbrook is where her heart and home will always be.

With the opportunities through Cranbrook Minor Hockey, and the Warner Hockey Program playing with the Alberta Major Midget hockey program, Justine is grateful to have pursued a hockey and academic scholarship at Robert Morris University in Chicago Illinois USA. In Chicago she completed both a degree in Architectural Technology, and received a diploma in CAD Drafting with a background in marketing and business. With determination and hard work, Justine quickly learned the importance of being a team player as well as obtaining valuable organizational & multi-tasking skills.

Being an active member in her community, Justine is a proud supporter and volunteers with charitable organizations such as Cops for Kids and Cranbrook’s own Hungry for Life Haiti Fundraiser. For 3 years, Justine volunteered with children participating with Niedermayer Hockey School.
Since 2010, Justine has worked at Interior Health BC in Cranbrook. She loves meeting new people and is excited with her new career change. Growing up around Real Estate has given her the knowledge in the importance of great customer service and professionalism. Justine is now proud to be working with her mother Sandy Smith Personal Real Estate Corporation with Royal LePage East Kootenay Realty. She is currently taking the British Columbia Real Estate course through Sauder School of Business and looks forward to becoming part of Sandy Smith’s team as a Licenced Assistant.
